Venue Information
ALGO 2010 will be held at the Hilton Liverpool Hotel.
The Hilton is located in the heart of Liverpool city centre, near the historic Albert Dock (home of The Beatles Story museum) and adjacent to the recently completed (in 2008) Liverpool One shopping centre. Liverpool One has more than 20 restaurants and bars. Many hotels and smaller B&B's are within easy walking distance of the Hilton, offering a variety of accommodation to suit anyone's tastes.
The Hilton Liverpool is 20-25 minutes by car from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, a 45-50 minute drive from Manchester Airport, and a 10 minute walk from Lime St train station. The train journey between Manchester Airport and Lime St Station is one hour, and bus service between John Lennon Airport and Liverpool One (Paradise St) Bus Station, next to the Hilton, takes approximately 45 minutes.
The conference reception (Sunday evening, 5 September) will be held in the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.
The conference dinner (Tuesday, 7 September) will take place at Gusto Liverpool, situated on the Albert Dock, a five minute walk from the Hilton Liverpool.
